Giving at the Chapter Level

At the individual chapter level, giving is anonymous. Chapter members may give any amount at any time they wish. There are no minimum gift requirements or any requirement to give anything at all.

Many chapter members will drop by the bank that houses the chapter account and simply deposit what they feel they can. Members cannot deduct their gifts at tax time because chapters do not have the necessary IRS status. FA organizational structure and principles attract the true altruists in the community. They do not seek any form of recognition or reward for their giving. The real reward is knowing that someone's life has been changed by a generous gift.

Giving to FAI

Since FAI's sole purpose is to help people start FA chapters in their communities, we cannot remain anonymous to those who we need to reach out to.

In addition, when we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we will be able to offer donors the ability to make tax deductible contributions. And we do recognize those who support the national organization.
